Description

Traditional Tibetan Green Tara Nepal Thangka

We have exclusively hand-drawn the Green Tara Nepal Thangka. For the painting process, we used cotton canvas and acrylic colors. Here in the Thangka, the deity is depicted having a peaceful and serene expression as she sits atop a moon disc lotus seat. She holds the stem of a lotus flower in her left hand, and her right hand is in the boon-granting mudra. We have kept the traditional essence of the thangka where Green Tara is placed at the center, visibly making it stand out. Her Royal ease posture denotes her readiness to help nature with a Blue Lotus stalk in her left hand and right-hand shows the gesture of Giving. This will be a perfect gift for practitioners like you to practice the Green Tara mantra.

Note: Green Tara Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.

Tara is the fully enlightened female buddha. Tara is said to arise from the compassionate tears of Avalokiteshvara. She is the female manifestation of enlightenment in the Buddhist tradition.

We develop strong feelings of joy, happiness, and closeness following thangka practice. Especially in the form of the Green Tara, Sengdeng Nagchi Drölma, she liberates sentient beings from the eight great fears.
